In the valley of fire where mortals lie,
The Daemons roam and the Angels fly,
Paving the way for the flow of life
From dawn to dusk and born to die.
Uncanny tunes make them sway
Making turmoil yet keeping them at bay,
When pain and tears knell them to pray
Hope for a new life saves the day.
Where facts mock the virtue of life,
Purity of truth values less than a lie,
Pleasure of mind eludes their path
Making them ponder whom to trust.
The doctrine lies scribed on the stones,
Bare from the heart of flesh and bones,
Passion for desire burns inside deep
Words of oath become hard to keep.
With all the odds on their side
They still have managed to cling to life,
How much strong the storm may pour
The light of hope inspires them more!
Some who despise the lures of life
Look for bliss in the essence of time,
For others who cherish what they get
Serenity is attained only at death.
With all the things these mortals endure
Make them evolve through time for sure,
Prophesying the birth of a new kind
Consciousness higher than the present mind.
